Hi I'm Jean Lea

I have 8 kids, I live on a farm, I'm an Office Manager and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family in a small town. I always wanted to marry a farmer and have lots of kids. Now I live on a small farm and I'm a wife and mother of 8, 3 boys and 5 girls and grannie of 3 special boys and two beautiful girls. I love working with children and getting to know people. I enjoy working in my garden, writing in my journal, singing songs and reading books. Life is so full of opportunities to learn and grow. I strive to recognize my blessings in each day. I love Sunrises, Sunsets, Flowers, trees and all the many things around us that remind us that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us so very much and provides us with things each day to testify of that love. As a child I lost a brother to Cancer and that helped me to draw closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ and learn to trust in them. They gave me strength then and continued to all my life as I faced and still face the challenges that we all have. Our trials make us stronger as we seek our Savior's love and help.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to follow my Savior and strive to be like Him. I grew up in a very large family; I'm #5 of 15 kids. I'm so very thankful for this blessing. Family is truly the place we learn how to love and share and work together. Family is what life is all about, I know we are all children of our Father in Heaven and we need to strive to get to know and love all those around us. I know My Savior Lives and loves me and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His Gospel, restored to the earth.

How I live my faith

At present I am the leader of our women's organization in our area. We strive to be our Savior's hands as we seek to follow His spirit and seek out those who may need a friend or someone to help them know that their Father in Heaven and their Savior love them. We learn together ways to be better homemakers and mothers. We enjoy learning new skills that will benefit our families and our own personal lives. I enjoy gardening and canning, these skills help me to feel more prepared to provide for the needs of my family. I strive to have personal and family time to study my Savior's life and teachings so that I will better know how to follow His example. Reading good books and sharing things we learn with our family members and our friends helps us all to grow.
