Hi I'm Beckee

I have lived all over the U.S. I am a Wife, Mom of 5, a major Utah Utes fan, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mom of 5 kids. My husband is a physician (a radiologist), and I stay home with the kids. ( I was a drama teacher back before we had kids) I was PTO president and am involved in community groups where I was a playgroup leader and was a membership leader. I have lived in Salt Lake City (Utah), East Lansing (Michigan), Aurora (Colorado), San Diego (California), Omaha (Nebraska), Spokane (Washington), Scottsdale (Arizona) and now we've bought a home on Aberdeen, Washington. I love life and being a mom. I also love to perform and to watch my kids as they are starting to take an interest in performing. I also LOVE being a football mom. I have always been a HUGE college football fan (go UTES), I like playing Fantasy Football, and I am now LOVING watching my 2 older boys play tackle football. My girls play soccer and volleyball, and I am learning to be sporty! I currently stay at home with my kids and run a little blog all about saving money and finding great deals. I am always trying to find ways to live with in our means. I started blogging because I wanted to share the great deals I find with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church but gained my own personal testimony of it as a teenager. I truly believe it is the one true church and I find great joy in being a member. I am always striving to be better and to be more like Christ. I know that you too can find the happiness I have found through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the church as a primary teacher. That means I get to teach weekly Sunday school lessons to the 5-6 year olds at church (boys and girls). I am lucky to have one of my own kids in my primary class so I get to teach and learn from him and his friends each Sunday!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Read the Book of Mormon, speak to local LDS missionaries, and pray to our Heavenly Father to know whether it is true. I know from personal experience that reading the scriptures and praying to know the truth works! Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. We try to help and serve anyone we see with a need. Show more Show less
