Hi I'm Steve

I am a retired OB/GYN physician. Serving a mission with my wife as a Medical Advisor.

About Me

I have been a member of the Church since I was nine years old. My father was born in Iran and married a Mormon girl (daughter of a BYU teacher) when he attended BYU. He later became a member of the church as well. My mother was from a pioneer family who settled in Provo. She has half British and half Swedish ancestry.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe and practice the precepts of my faith. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored in 1830 very much as it existed in the time of Christ. I am excited to have a living prophet on the earth today and try to follow his precepts, teachings and the example of Christ.

How I live my faith

I am responsible for the health concerns of over 6000 missionaries serving in a large country outside of the United States. I provide medical advice to mission presidents, missionaries, and their families. I have always held callings in the church. Most recently I have taught a gospel doctrine class to adults in my ward and served in the local temple as an ordinance worker.
