Hi I'm Becca

I'm a recent college graduate. I'm a social media and health & fitness enthusiast. I'm young and married. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from college in communications and recently started a new job in Seattle doing social media. I miss the college life but am starting to enjoy this new adventure. I am young and married and love that my husband and I can enjoy this new journey together.

Why I am a Mormon

The church brings me more happiness then anything else in this life. Every good choice I have made in my life I attribute to the gospel. I am Mormon because I truly believe the teachings of this gospel. The holy ghost has witnessed to me of this truthfulness through prayers, reading the scriptures, and attending church. I can feel my Savior's love and reaffirmation that this is the true church when I am doing the things he asks of me. Also I believe that this church follows the bible with exactness. The priesthood is still on the earth today. We still have 12 apostles. We still have a prophet. We still tithe. These things remind me that if I believe in God and Jesus Christ, there is no other church that follows the bible with such exactness and is the same all around the world- which ever Mormon church you attend, it will believe in the same things and practice the same things. I love being Mormon and the person Christ helps me to become.

How I live my faith

I love going to church because everyone is involved and contributes in some way. You have a big support system and a church family that will always be there to help you. I have participated in many ways. I was a Sunday school teacher and taught weekly lessons from the bible. I also was a compassionate service leader and made sure those who were struggling were supported and that their needs were being met. I also have helped clean our church building and temples to create a clean and holy environment. In college I helped to organize monthly events and parties. Contributing to the church brings me happiness and a sense of purpose and involvement.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormons are like every other family, busy with work, school, kids. Although we find ourselves busy we try to continually take time every Monday for what we call family home evening. This is when families gather, spend time together and usually have a lesson that strengthens the family (ie:faith). We also attend church every Sunday for 3 hours. Families also try to pray and read scriptures together daily. We believe in trying to live a healthy life, free of drugs or alcohol as well. Show more Show less
