Hi I'm Gianna

I'm a wife, mother and civil engineer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, especially Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I have recently started doing lots of family history work and am having lots of fun finding out about my ancestors. I have a wonderful husband who I love and cherish and an amazing son and seven wonderful step kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon, but left when I was a teenager. I struggled with my testimony and with everything in my life. About 12 years ago, I realized that something was missing and decided it was time to see about changing what I was doing. The difference is amazing. Although I had heard all the lessons as a child read the scriptures, it was truly wonderful to me to turn back to it and know that no matter what, Heavenly Father does love me and has a plan for me. It is not always easy, but even when it is the hardest, I know there is s a purpose behind it. That gives me the strength to keep going and there has never failed to be more blessings that I can even imagine once I get there.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different ways over the years including helping to care for small children, teaching children, teaching teenagers, teaching and helping the teenage girls. Currently I am coordinating and assisting members with family history. I help them to do genealogical research and find their ancestors. I am not an expert, but the blessings that the Lord has given to me and to them are amazing.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Gianna
This is one of my favorite questions. When I married my husband in the Orlando Florida temple, our promises to each other were made for "Time and All Eternity." I love him so much that I can't imagine being without him. I can't imagine that a loving Father in Heaven would ever expect us to give up the people that we care about the most just because we have left this earth. I know that I can have my husband and my children for all of eternity instead of till death do us part. Show more Show less
