Hi I'm Michael Earl

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ- I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Husband, Father, and Attorney. I was born in Lima, Peru, and love all Latin culture even though my family and I moved to Washington before I turned two. I am the youngest of eight children, one of whom passed away at the age of three before I was even born. Everyone in my family is now married and most have kids. Having such a large family has been awesome, and we are all get along great and live happy lives. I served a mission in the Paraguay Asuncion Mission for two years and I loved it. It was the most satisfying two years of my entire life, and I would not trade it for anything. I served in four different areas of Paraguay for about 6 months each (Hernandarias, Pai nu, Obligado, and Centro). AMO PARAGUAY Y QUIERO VOLVER TANTO! Extrano tanto a mi familia paraguaya. Most importantly I have a beautiful wife that puts up with me. We got married in the LDS temple in Portland, Oregon, a few weeks before I graduated from college, while I was in summer school. I love my wife so much and am grateful that she has such a good attitude when I insist on turning her life upside-down. For example; about a month after we got married, I graduated. I walked on a Friday, we packed all of our belongings in two compact cars on Saturday, we drove twelve hours to Idaho on Sunday, and I started law school on Monday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I asked myself some important questions: What is the point of living this life? Where did I come from? What happens when I die? Then I investigated to find answers. I am a Mormon because truth and knowledge brings happiness. I found this truth in the Bible as well as in the Book of Mormon. I know that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly, and I know the the book of Mormon is in fact the word of God and can not be an invention of human wit and reasoning. I want my future posterity to know these things too, because these facts have brought me more happiness and joy then I can imagine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being productive, happy, and remembering my Lord and Savior every day. I make sure that even though God knows all, he can see through my actions that I in fact love him and am grateful for everything he has done for me.
