Hi I'm Shannon
I grew up in Utah. I work as a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am 26-year-old single woman living in Utah. I attended college in Utah and graduated two years ago in nursing. Working as a nurse has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my life. I come from a large family of seven children. I also have two sisters-in-law, two beautiful nieces, and two handsome nephews. I Love them all so much! Family is very important to me and I spend as much time with them as I can. I love reading, cooking, scrapbooking, quilting, and traveling. I hope some day to be married for eternity in the temple and have a family of my own to nurture and teach.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was raised in a home where the principles of the Gospel were continually taught and practiced. Over the years I have developed my own testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel and its teachings. I know the Prophet Joseph Smith restored this true Church upon the earth and was the instrument through which the Book of Mormon was brought forth. I know the Book of Mormon is true. It truly testifies of Jesus Christ and gives me hope for the future. I know I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and wants me to return to Him one day. I know my Savior Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and that through His Atonement I can return to live with Him and my Heavenly Father again. I continue to follow His Gospel because I know that it is only through studying and applying the principles of the Gospel that we can have eternal life with our Heavenly Father and Savior and Brother Jesus Christ.
How I live my faith
I live my faith through daily study of the Book of Mormon and the teachings of ancient and modern-day prophets. I pray each day and seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost in all I do. I attend my church meetings each week and attend the temple as often as I can. I make it a priority each day to serve or help someone in need.
