Hi I'm Brian

and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and am a proud parent of three kids. My kids are between the ages of two and seven and they keep my wife and I plenty busy. I am interested in outdoor activities, sports, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have been extremely blessed by parents that raised me in a good home and taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know through my own diligent study and prayer that the Jesus is the Christ and that God or Father lives and loves each of us as we are His children. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God and that he saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Through revelation Joseph Smith was able to translate the Book of Mormon another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that it is a companion to the Bible that iterates the happenings and teachings of the Ancient Inhabitants of the Americas. The Book of Mormon is true and it brings the Spirit of God into my life as I read and study its teachings. I testify that the priesthood or the power and authority to act in the name of God was restored to Joseph Smith by the ancient prophets John the Baptist, Peter, James, and John; and that that power blesses the lives of all God's children. With the priesthood restored on earth I know that families can be sealed eternally and if we are faithful God will bless us with all He has. I know Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on earth today. I am so grateful to have the gospel knowledge and a testimony of its truthfulness.

How I live my faith

First and foremost I strive to keep the commandments of our Heavenly Father. In addition to keeping the commandments and trying to do what I know is right I participate in voluntary church assignments and service. At this time I am responsible for teaching men between the ages of 18-50 and ensuring that they are edified and that their families are taken care of through home teaching. In addition, I try to serve and be a law-abiding citizen in my community and to serve my family.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true by learning about what we believe from the missionaries the church has throughout the world. These young men are teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and are strictly serving the people where they reside. The missionaries will teach the gospel to all willing to listen and learn and then you may pray and ask God if the things they have taught are true. Through prayer you can and will know that what we believe is true. Show more Show less
