Hi I'm Ryan

I grew up in Arizona and I am on a mission from 2010 to 2012. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am on a mission for the church right now. I like to play sports, my favorite is baseball, although I didn't ever play in high school. I also like swim, playing water polo, and running cross country. I did those sports in high school. Oh man, I just love to have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I chose to be baptized when I was eight. I continue to go to church and I am on a mission now because I know that this is the true church. I want everyone else to know as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being on my mission! I know that that is what I need to do, because it is so important that we spread what we know, otherwise we are just being selfish!

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

The way I learned to increase my faith was to actually work on getting it. I actually read in Alma 32, and it talks about starting a seed of faith, and how it can grow. Basically I learned that the only way i could know for myself was to start reading and praying everyday, and without doubting, because doubt is the opposite of faith, I would pray about it. What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Since I am a missionary, and this is what i do, this is an easy question to answer. When we come to visit, that usually means you will have a desire to change, and to come closer to your Savior. If you don't, then we probably wouldn't be visiting your home anyways. But since we are, what we will be talking about is how you can come closer to your Savior, and how you can change your life in the process. All for the better, of course, I promise. And what we will eventually talk about is baptism. Baptism is essetial to return to live with our Heavenly Father. It is our first covenant with God. A covenant, remember, is a two-way promise with God. We promise to keep His commandments, and He promises to bless us, which he does, trust me. God has allowed the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to once again be on this earth. And we must take advantage of it, and follow the promptings of the Spirit that we feel to go down the right path, the straight and narrow path to our Father in Heaven, eternal happiness.
