Hi I'm Rena'

I am a Mother of 2, I love country music, and my great-great Grandfather was Jewish, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a son and a daughter, I've been married for 5 years, but we were just sealed in the temple in September 2009. I am a Stay At Home Mom now, and it's the best job I've ever had. I love to cook, and read. I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father and all the blessings he has bestowed upon me!

Why I am a Mormon

From the time I was a little girl, I always felt so different when I would go to the LDS church. I had been raised Penecostal, and I just didn't get the same feelings in that church! Knowing that there are priesthood holders in my church and in my family who can give me blessings for comfort, or illness, or guidance is the most comforting feeling in the world! The one thing I always helps me when I am going trhough trials, is to hear other members tell me: Never give up, Never lose Faith. I know that the church is true because, I felt the Spirit with me in everything I've ever been through since I've joined the church. The feeling when you walk in the Chapel and the Temple is undescribable. I love my Heavenly Father, and I am so thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for me, so that I, my Children, and Husband, would have a chance to be together for all time and Eternity!

How I live my faith

My husband and I try to make it to every baptism in our ward. Sometimes we don't even know the person being baptized, but we feel it's important to support them, because when we we're baptized many people came to our baptisms!

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes! My husband, son, and I were sealed for all time and eternity together in the temple last year! Now when we enter the here after we will be able to be a family and know one another! Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I would like to share an exprience I had when taking my daughter for her 2 month shots. There was a single mother in our doctor's office who had a newborn baby. the hospital hadn't given her enough formula to last through the weekend and the WIC office was already closed, and she didn't have the money to buy formula. All of a sudden I had a VERY strong feeling that I should give her money to buy formula with! I could not leave the doctor without giving her the money. When I gave her the $20 to buy her formula with I felt awesome! I knew it was the Holy Spirit that guided me to do that. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are HUGE part of our religion! Everything revolves around our families. Family wasn't that important to me until I joined the church, and one of my own. now Family is everything to me! Show more Show less
