Hi I'm Jeremy

I am a dental student. I am a husband and father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful loving woman and we enjoy watching our beautiful daughter grow each day. I am a first year dental student, and am enjoying it every day. I love to play the piano - it is a great stress relief when I am busy or overwhelmed from school.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a loving home and have attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. I was baptized at the age of eight, and have been an active member my whole life. However, even though I grew up in a church-going family, I still have had to make the decision to live the commandments and continue to attend church now that I have a family of my own. While serving as a missionary for the church, I came to a better understanding of the mission of our Savior. I came to know that He lives, loves me, and truly is the Savior of the world. That is the foundation of my faith. I know that God lives, is real, and loves us. I also know that He called Joseph Smith as a prophet and through him restored His gospel on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that by reading and applying its teachings we can come closer to our Savior and learn to be more like Him. Even though I grew up a member of the church, I continue to actively participate and attend church because I know these things.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church I have a great opportunity to make sure that the building we meet in stays clean and in order. If there is a problem, I either fix it, or make a request to the church that it be fixed. As a dental student I have the opportunity to serve in the community in teaching good oral hygiene, but also in other community efforts such as home building for the poor, planing trees in a local park, or volunteering at a special needs Olympics.
