Hi I'm Jack

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer. I am active in Boy Scouting, love the outdoors and the beauty it provides. I like to ride my bicycle and encourage others to do their best. I am a father, a grandfather, a husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I born in the LDS Church. In my teen years I wondered about other religions and beliefs and read about those I could find in the school library. I continued to read and study, and I found that the LDS faith was what I felt to be right. Once I received my patriarchal blessing and came to understand God's love for me as a person and sought to realize the blessings that were promised. I served a mission and strengthened my testimony and despite challenges in life, I have stayed active and continue to strengthen my testimony of Christ and the Church.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings and serve in different capacities in the congregation. I teach Gospel Doctrine on occasion, I serve as an assistant to my Priesthood leader and give service to others. I am active in Boy Scouting in the community.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

I find in comforting that we know that Heavenly Father, God to all, is a personage, an individual united in purpose with His Son, Jesus Christ; and with His servant, the Holy Ghost to compose the Godhead. Knowing that I have a Father who knows and cares about me; my cares and concerns, my loves and disappointments, my successes and failures and wants the best for me, to bless me and desires that I return to Him.
