Hi I'm Bryan

I grew up in San Diego and now live in Northern Virginia, but still root for the Padres and Chargers. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a software engineer. I enjoy riding my bicycle to work when my work and family schedule allow for it. I've recently become a reluctant auto mechanic figuring out how to do simple jobs like replacing brake pads and transmission fluid and the like. I've been married for 12 years and have a nine year old son.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe it is true. I was raised in the Mormon church and was always taught that it was the true church. However, I also knew that I couldn't rely on the word of others. After much study and prayer I recieved an answer to my prayers through the Holy Ghost that the Mormon church is indeed true. That is why I am still a Mormon today.

How I live my faith

In addition to attending the weekly worship services I help out in the Cub Scout pack that my congregation sponsors. I also visit the homes of two families I've been assign to look after. On a personal level pay tithing on my income, I fast monthly and I try to read from the Bible or Book of Mormon regularly.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

The short answer is that the church that Jesus Christ organized during His ministry eventually fell away from the truth. Jesus Christ restored the truth in our day through a prophet named Joseph Smith. Show more Show less
