Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my best friend for more than 5 years. We have a wonderful little boy who is 2 and another little boy on the way. I am an optometrist and enjoy getting up every morning to help improve peoples lives by helping them see better. I enjoy golfing, attending sporting events and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the only true Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth through a living Prophet. I am also a Mormon because I know that through the blessings of the Gospel, my family and I can live together forever even after this life. Knowing that I am a member of Christ's true church gives me motivation on a daily basis to try and better my life and the lives of those around me. It helps put into perspective my relationship with my family and gives me a correct understanding of my relationship with my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example to those around me. An example that reflects the Savior. I feel blessed to be an eye doctor and in a small way get to participate in the same work the Savior himself did while he was on the earth by providing sight to the blind. I live my faith by trying to be a good husband and father and nurture those relationships that I know will last forever.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

John
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is exactly that--Jesus Christ's Church. He is the founder. It is the same church that Christ founded when he was on the earth. It has been restored in our day by a Prophet, Joseph Smith. I know this to be true and have faith that all those who sincerely want to know the same will come to know, if they ask their Heavenly Father in prayer. Show more Show less
