Hi I'm Kjerstin

I live in Idaho, am a mother and wife, and am a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I am 29-years-old and have been married to my sweet husband for 7 years. We have two wonderful boys ages 4 and 1. I work part time as a cashier. I love to blog and play on Facebook. I love to set up play dates for my children because it allows us to get out and I get to interact with other adults!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith. I gained my own personal testimony of the gospel as a teenager. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and appreciate the knowledge it has provided me. I am grateful to know that I will one day be reunited with all of my family in heaven. I am grateful for the chance to serve in our Savior's church. I currently serve the Young Women and enjoy it so much! I love the Relief Society program and know that it was designed and called of God. It has been a true blessing in my life. I have been helped so much by the Relief Society and have also had the opportunity to serve others. I know that our Savior lives and that He loves us. I have a testimony of prayer and of forgiveness.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly. I currently work with the youth in our ward. I teach them on Sundays and I also meet with them during the week to have fun and learn. I love to go Visiting Teaching. Visiting Teaching is where you and another person go and visit with people in the ward and check on them. I have made many friends this way and love when my Visiting Teacher's come to visit me. I have gotten to meet and make friends with many people this way.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know that Mormonism is true by first hearing from the missionaries. They will teach you about our church and what we believe. They will provide you with a Book of Mormon. You may choose to read some of the passages. Once you have listened to the missionaries and/or read some of the Book of Mormon, you can pray to Heavenly Father and ask if Mormonism is true. Spend time praying and thinking about it. Heavenly Father will let you know. Show more Show less
