Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm David

I'm a soccer/guitar playing college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student at Utah State University. I love to play soccer and love music. I also love to record music for those that want their songs recorded. I served a mission in the Costa Rica San José mission and just returned in August.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received many answers from my Father In Heaven that this is His church and that Jesus Christ is at the head of it. There's not much more too it. When you sincerely seek the truth and the Holy Spirit confirms and testifies that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God, you don't need anything else. Sure, I love to ask questions, "why do we believe in this or that?" Sometimes things seem like they don't line up, but we won't ever know all of the answers, the most important answer to seek is simply if this is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are things that I don't understand still but I know that God has already answered my prayers and continues answering me.

How I live my faith

I love to study the scriptures and meditate in them and try to figure out what I need to learn from what I have read. In my ward I am a Gospel Doctrine teacher. I love the chance to teach because I learn more than those in the class! I'm not perfect but I do my best to have the best of intentions with whatever I do.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

David
Mormon women are daughters of our Heavenly Father and are a true blessing to men and the church. Mormons believe that both men and women are equal in the eyes of God, however, each have been blessed with certain gifts. The men for example have the blessing of being Priesthood holders, and the women have special gifts to nurture, and teach. That is why the family the way God has organized it is so important. Having both mother and father will allow us feel the love of our Heavenly Father, be nurtured, and receive Priesthood blessings. Show more Show less
