Hi I'm Katherine!

I enjoy learning new things and being creative. I also find joy in helping and serving. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love learning new hobbies and interests. I am very excited because I know that even though its hard I know that some day I can. I am temple sealed to my husband. We love each other very deeply. I just finished a four-year degree from a local college. My major was Sociology. From this I studied many different social problems in the world today, such as racism, poverty, and global health. I also learned demography meaning that I can appropriately measure population attitudes. I am very excited with where my life my or may not lead me. I have had the blessing of being growing closer to my family because of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint is true. I have sealed this testimony in the silence of my heart. I knew that I had to join the true The Church of Jesus Christ on The Earth Today because I went to my friend's house who is Mormon. Within their home resides the most joyful, peaceful feeling. I try to do my best at everything, and sometimes life gets hard, but I know that the Lord is there for me. Jesus Christ loves me.

How I live my faith

I am a nursery leader along with my husband. We are learning together the importance of families, especially how important it is to teach from a very young the importance of having Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and The Spirit in their lives.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes, husband and wife can be together forever. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me so much that he has made it possible for me to live in heaven with my husband and children. Within the temple families are sealed together for eternity. Show more Show less

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

I try to be an example of Jesus Christ always. My faith in Jesus Christ has given me a greater desire to be a loving, understanding, and supportive spouse. My faith have helped me place my family first before my own desires to live selflessly. It has also helped me be more forgiving towards my husband, family members, and friends. Sometimes that can be hard for me because I place so much trust in them, but I know that God forgave them, which helps me forgive them as well. Show more Show less
