Hi I'm Krista
I'm a stay-at-home mom, a writer, and a Mormon.
I am a stay-at-home mom by day and a writer by naptime. I hold degrees in Mathematics Education and Economics from Brigham Young University but try not to talk--or write--like a mathematician. If I’m not typing away on the computer, I’m probably watching college football or wiping someone’s nose.
I was adopted by a Mormon family as an infant, so I was a Mormon as a kid by default. But I'm a Mormon today because the quiet promptings of the still, small voice have witnessed to me that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world, that Joseph Smith was a prophet as surely as Noah and Moses were, and that the Book of Mormon contains the fullness of the simple truths the Savior Himself taught. I'm a Mormon today because I know this is where God wants me to be.
I go to church every Sunday with my husband and three young kids. Once a month, I teach the women at my church out of the scriptures and the words of living prophets. I also help the people in my area research their family history. I caught the family history bug about a year ago, and now I just can't quit!
