Hi I'm Rob

I grew up in Oregon. I'm a golfer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student majoring in economics and working full time doing marketing for a leadership consulting firm. I have a wife and a baby girl. I love to golf, exercise, read, and play with my family. I ran a half-marathon earlier this year, and hope to do a triathlon next year.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost told me it's right. As I've followed the things I've learned in the Church I have found peace and happiness. I know that everyone can receive blessings from God if they are full of faith and follow the Spirit.

How I live my faith

I lead the men's group in my local congregation, made up mostly of students at the university. Trying to lead by example, I read the scriptures and pray each day, as well as attend church meetings each Sunday. In addition to nurturing my own family, I try to help the men in my congregation strengthen their own families by becoming more like the Savior.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are definitely Christians. We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God. We believe He suffered and died for our sins, so we can repent and receive salvation. Like other Christians, we believe He was resurrected after three days in the tomb, and that He lives and loves us to this day. We believe that we need to be like Him, because He is the perfect example. We try to keep His commandments and put our faith in Him. Show more Show less
