Hi I'm Cort

I like riding motorcycles, exploring, welding, spending time with my wife and kids, and throwing get togethers for my friends.

About Me

I am a welding engineer. I enjoy designing and building new projects for myself and for friends. I am married to a wonderful woman. I grew up in Montana and love being outdoors. I also love my family, both immediate and extended. I try to live each day with a good attitude and try not to be let down when things may not be going right. I have so much to be thankful for, and believe we all do if we can just learn to recognize it. My hobbies include fixing old broken things and bringing them back to life. I am a fan of all things with motors, and can spend hours learning about what makes things work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised going to church and have been going to the Mormon church all of my life. Now I live on my own and continue to go to church weekly. I have found that I can have a much more meaningful life knowing why I am here and what will be happening in my life. I have Faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world and Son of God, I know that he lives and loves me.

How I live my faith

I try to regularly attend my church meetings, as well as look for ways to follow Christ by serving others. I believe that one of the most important messages that Christ taught is to love one another. I believe that even though I have a lot of faults and flaws, I can overcome my shortcomings by bringing happiness to other people. I believe it is something that everyone should do regardless of their religion.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Cort
A testimony to me is the knowledge and witness that there is a God, and that I am one of his children. I know that Jesus Christ is only begotten Son, and that through him we can return to live with God again. This testimony of a Heavenly Father helps guide me through my choices in life. Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Cort
I like to help anyone as much as I can. If I see someone on the side of the road, I stop and see if I can help. I like that people that know me know that I am reliable and that they can always call me when they need a helping hand. Show more Show less
