Hi I'm Andy.

I'm a family man, humanitarian, teacher, African drummer, and artist. I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

As a child my parents gave me a sign to hang in my bedroom, which quoted, "The best way to know life is to love many things. - Vincent Van Gogh". My life today reflects this paradigm; I love my life because it is full of a great variety of meaningful activities and experiences, and people to love and serve. When one turns his life over to God, and chooses to follow the desires of the heart, there is no end to the rich and unexpected adventures he will encounter. Such has been the journey of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to be a Mormon. By some incredible blessing I didn't deserve or ask for, I was sent to two loving parents who were Latter-day Saints. So birth was my "in". But staying in has been a conscious choice based on hundreds of experiences - from small spiritual whisperings to undeniable life-changing miracles - that have provided me clarity that God is real, Jesus atoned for my sins, and that within the Mormon church is found His restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a person of action; those who know me can see my faith by what I do and how I live. For example: I'm a good dad because I believe families are forever. I volunteer with the Boy Scouts in my Ward because I believe it takes a community to raise the next generation well. I do humanitarian work in Africa because the essence of religion is serving the poor. I create musical art because I can't help it.
