Hi I'm Nolan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports. (Football, Basketball). I love fishing and outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that it is only through the grace of God that we can be saved. I want to be apart of God's kingdom here on earth. To witness to God that I wanted to follow his son Jesus Christ and enter into the Kingdom I was baptized. There are many reasons why I am mormon. I've read the Book of Mormon and I do know that it's true. I also look at what the church has brought me in my life? Nothing but good. The kingdom of God will fill the earth. Those who want to follow Jesus Christ will enter into his kingdom and be apart of the works that the kingdom brings. It has made me a better person and has brought my family together. I was helped and guided because of the faith that I put forth. Then my testimony came. As you unite yourself with Christ and pray asking if this church is his kingdom God will answer your prayers. It will come in a way that you can't describe and you will know that God is speaking to you. You will know the true church by the fruit that it brings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ! When you follow him you stop focusing on yourself on start focusing on others. I love to serve those around me and help them with what they need. I try to follow the Savior in all things.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

As simple as it sounds but through praying to know that it is true. Read the Book of Mormon and then pray. The Holy Ghost will manifest the truth of it unto you. You will feel a burning in your chest. You will know that it is true. Show more Show less

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

It's a misconception. In no way are we a cult. We have missionaries throughout the world inviting people to come to church on sundays! Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

A Book of Mormon prophet teaches "For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors." ( Alma 34:32) The purpose of this life is to become like our Heavenly Father for that is what He told us to do in Matthew 5:48 . We become like our Father in Heaven by following Jesus Christ. Our labors are Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the end. When we perform those labors we prepare ourselves to meet God. We are here to gain a body, follow Jesus Christ to prepare to meet God and establish a family that we can live with forever in Heaven. All this is done only by and through the grace of Jesus Christ. As we follow his example we are fulfilling our purpose here. Show more Show less
