Hi I'm Anthony Beal

I live in So. Utah. I am married and a new dad! I am Secondary Science Education. I work as a CA at CaptionCall. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to college to become a teacher, I am a new dad to a five month old, and I love the gospel. I do not know where I would be without the gospel in my life. I live the Gospel because it is the way of happiness, not only in the next life, but in this life as well. It makes things less complicated and helps me feel good about myself I am also a Mountain Bike enthusiast, but I don't get out much. Working a full time job while going to school full time and helping my wife with our daughter keeps me pretty busy. I am blessed to have my family and friends to help lift me up and support me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the faith, but my family was inactive. They Still wanted me to attend, and I did so with no need for them to force me, because I loved going. But the real reason I am a Mormon came to me when I had just graduated high school. I was having trouble overcoming an addiction. I was overwhelmed to the point of tears. As I wept, I prayed. as I prayed I felt the arms of God's love surround me. I then decided to really live what I had professed to believe: I read the Lords word daily, Prayed always in my heart, and prayed out loud as often as situation would permit. I found utter bliss in living the teachings found in the words of Christ. I know that God lives, as does his resurrected son, Jesus Christ. I know - and I am so grateful for this knowledge - that Christ gave his life for us, and suffered in ways we as human beings cannot fathom, so that we could be perfect and live with him again. I have a testimony of the Holy Ghost, and the comfort he can bring anyone who seeks it. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet of God, and that God communes with him for his church. I know that we can communicate with God as well, if we will just ask in the name of Christ. I know God loves me, and I know that if I follow Christ's example, I can live with Him and God again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sustaining and following the beloved prophets of God and Jesus. I live it by following the example of the savior. I live it by doing the things that Christ our Lord and God the Father ask us to do. I follow it by being my brothers keeper the best that I can. I also do all I can to share the gospel with others, because I want to share the happiness and love that I've felt with others.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Anthony Beal
The temple is not a secret place, but rather a sacred and holy place. We do not believe that sharing sacred things is appropriate. Many members are not allowed in the temples because of worthiness issues, or issues dealing with age. The Lord requires us to be cleansed before entering into his house of blessings on earth. These are the only place that God dwells, therefore we do not want it defiled. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Anthony Beal
As Latter Day Saints, we worship God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. We do not worship Joseph Smith in any way. We do revere and respect him as a prophet, seer, and revelator, a man who talked with God for his people. We feel the same way for Moses, Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, as well as other prophets. but we in no way worship them. Christ is our salvation, he is the way to eternal life, and Joseph Smith was a mere man, a man who communicated with God for us, but a man nonetheless. We are grateful for the things that God brought about by Joseph Smith: the Restored Gospel, with apostles and prophets, seers and revelators. I am grateful for this knowledge. Show more Show less
