Hi I'm Brooke

I'm a student. I'm a baker. I'm a people-person. I'm a Christian, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student. I play the piano and sing, occasionally arrange music, and I love to listen to it all the time. I also love baking. I love to be with my family and friends. Laughing is my favorite. I often write down the funny things people say.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this faith, but was always encouraged to find out for myself if this really is Christ's church. I learned for myself by prayer, study, and living the principles I was taught. I knew that I felt good when I made those choices and that good feeling was the Spirit telling me this is right.

How I live my faith

I get to work in our organization for women. I get to meet all the women in my ward and get to know them and see what I can do to help them. One thing I'm really learning is that we all have weaknesses and strengths and we really need each other. Everybody has something to offer, and I think that's the most amazing part of how we're organized. It's not one person's job to do everything, but all of us have some responsibility to watch out for each other and serve God.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is a record, like a journal or diary, kept by people who left Jerusalem about 600 B.C. and were led to the American continent. It was passed down for generations and shows the experiences these people had, both good and bad. It teaches especially of the reality of Jesus Christ. The prophets before His birth all testified that He would come. He even visited these people on the American continent after His resurrection. Those who wrote after His visit also added their witness that He lived. Show more Show less
