Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Mormon. I work in a law firm helping the disabled get government benefits.

About Me

I am a student at a local University. I am studying Digital Media with an emphasis in film. I was married in the temple to a wonderful woman. We play music together, me on the guitar and she on the piano. My whole family is musical. I love Rock and Roll. My father plays the bass guitar, and my brother plays the drums and we play together whenever we have the chance. I love the movies, I love music, and I like to read as well. Some other things I do often are play video games like Zelda, and Portal 2. I love having a good time, and helping other people to feel good too.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed by the gospel of Christ. I have noticed the difference when I am not being obedient to His commandments. I feel confidant and full of purpose when I obey the teachings of the LDS church. I feel weak when I am not. I am happy when I am doing good things, and the Church provides many opportunities and suggestions to do good. I am a member of the church because it makes me happy, and I in turn spread that happiness to everyone I know.

How I live my faith

I uplift and smile to everyone I can. I love listening to other people's stories, no matter what they are. I have friends at work that I share my feelings about the church with often, and they share with me their ideas and beliefs. The Gospel is everywhere, and I love finding it in every body's life. In my local church I am a supervisor over a program called Home Teaching where the men visit the home of every family to make sure they are doing OK and to share a spiritual message. It is uplifting to me to share a message and to get to know these families so well.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Andrew
I came to know that Mormonism is true by living it, and not living it, and living it again. I also tested it. When I was down, and I turned to Christ and His Church, I was helped to be happy. When I turned to other sources I often was left empty inside. It was always a temporary fix. But not with the Gospel. There is happiness in it's truest form, with love from God and from those who love God. Show more Show less
