Hi I'm Eric

I am a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and reading, and thinking deep thoughts. I am one of 6 children, and I'm a History and Spanish major in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because here I find the answers to the questions that matter most to me- Who am I? What is the purpose of my life? What sort of person ought I be? The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me understand that I am a son of a loving heavenly father, and that my life has a meaning and a purpose. I love being able to see myself becoming a better man through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

At college, the congregation I attend is made up of students around my age. Besides our Sunday service, we get together for activities throughout the week. Sometimes these activities include a service project, or something social, either way, it is a great way to live the principles I learn on Sunday.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The surest way to know if Mormonism is true is to try it for yourself. Read the Book of Mormon, prayerfully consider the message it contains, and ask God if the book is true. He knows, and he will tell you through the gentle feelings of the Holy Ghost. Try the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in your own life, and see if they do not make you a better person, and bring you closer to God. As you do these things, you will know for yourself that Mormonism is true. Show more Show less
