Hi I'm Dale
I'm a Mormon.
I am a convert in the Church. I was formerly a professional football player (linebacker) and joined the Mormon Church in 1973, in the off-season, while playing football for the Baltimore Colts (1970-72). I also played linebacker for the Miami Dolphins for 2 seasons (1969-70). I am now a retired law enforcement professional. My career spanned 23 years as a Special Agent for NCIS, (the now popular television show). I am a native of Live Oak, Florida. I am a 1969 graduate of Florida State University, where I majored in Criminology. I was an All American linebacker for the Florida State Seminoles (1968). I am married and have four children and six (6) grandchildren.
Why I am a Mormon
I joined the Mormon Church after listening to the missionary discussions because I could not deny what I was being taught. What I heard, was the truth, and the teachings of the Mormon Church contained a fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I read the Book of Mormon for the first time I felt a tremendous desire to read all of it - because it was so spiritually interesting and clarified so many questions that I had been searching for answers, for so many years. I love being a Mormon because the Church is so family oriented and the teachings of the Church are perfectly linked to the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Indeed, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is truly the Kingdom of God on earth. I have a complete and unequivocal witness of this......
How I live my faith
I live my faith by actively attending Church, accepting callings in the Church, reading the scriptures and actively looking for missionary opportunities and related service projects. I have accepted many Church assignments over the years and held many Priesthood leadership positions. I honestly try to emulate the Savior, Jesus Christ.
