Hi I'm Nick Holton

I grew up in Salt lake and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 and I'm just waiting to serve my mission. I'm working and I love to music. I love to read about the doctrines of this great church. I love to work hard and play hard. I'm the oldest of 5 children and I love playing with my family. They are everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have search and I have prayed and asked the Almighty God and he has testified to me by his Holy Spirit that this is the Church. I know that Christ is my redeemer and he is my Saviour, brother, and Friend. I have trusted so much in him. I love him and I can't wait to return worthily into his presence. Christ suffered for our sins and for our pains and binds us all that we may by his power and grace live together with our families for eternity.

How I live my faith

I exercise my faith by going to church every week. I converse with my Lord at least twice a day and I always have a prayer in my heart. I strongly believe that if we have a prayer in our hearts we can know the will of God. I Love going to church every Sunday. I have many friends that I love to see who are shall we say a little older than me (by about 50 years). I love visiting with them and seeing them at church or visiting them at their homes.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Nick Holton
We do not worship Joseph Smith. We only worship the Lord God and his Son, Jesus Christ. We recognize that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he did restore the church in it's fullness with all the principles and ordinances and for that we are thankful but we do not worship him. What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?

Nick Holton
In the Church we renew the covenants we made with God when we were Baptized. We do this by partaking of the Sacrament. In the Temple we make sacred covenants with Lord and we receive protection from the Lord. The temple is a place where we can go and feel at peace and feel the Spirit of our Lord, Receive answers to any questions we may have or just go to feel of the Love of God. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Nick Holton
No not all Mormons are required to serve a Mission. But the blessings that are received by those that do serve a mission are numberless. All of those who do will not only get to know Jesus Christ better but will feel and know of his love. Show more Show less
