Hi I'm Britt.

I'm a college graduate, an avid reader, a wife, a soon-to-be-momma, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU where I studied Family Life and Human Development. I worked full-time for two years while my husband was in graduate school, and now I'm expecting our first child and looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom. I love to read, to be with friends and family, and to eat!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is the true church. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have formulated a plan for us to leave with them again. They love us, very much. We are all children of God! They are there for us every day. I love reading my scriptures, and praying to my Heavenly Father; I love feeling the Spirit whisper truth to my heart. Going to the Temple, the House of the Lord brings such peace and comfort to my soul. By praying, asking of God to know the truth, and by seeking answers in the scriptures, I have come to know why I am here, and where I am going. The Gospel gives me guidance in my life, and I am so grateful for the knowledge I have been given.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is by fulfilling my current church calling, which is working with the 5 and 6 year olds in our ward (congregation). I teach and serve them, and help them as they grow. I also serve those in my community and I serve my family. I attend my church meetings, and attend the Temple regularly. My husband and I read the scriptures, and pray together.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Britt.
We can come to know our Father in Heaven by reading his scriptures, and praying to Him. We are His children, and He wants us to come to Him. We can also listen to messages from our current church leaders, the apostles and prophets who serve as special witnesses of Him. By keeping His commandments and obeying Him our belief in His teachings can grow and become strengthened. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Britt.
We believe that families are the most important and sacred unit on the Earth. Our main responsibilities are to care for and provide for our family. We believe that if we follow God's will and are sealed together in His Temple, we can live with our families forever, after death. Show more Show less
