Hi I'm Megan

I'm a musician. I'm an insomniac. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in my 30s and live in Alabama, where I was raised. I have an infectious laugh so I've been told... and I work as a pianist. I have a sweet husband and supportive extended family. My life is anything BUT perfect. I have many heartaches but try to keep my chin up and enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is my anchor. He is the reason I'm a Mormon. His gospel is taught clearly in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints through the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other modern-day scripture, as well as through modern prophets.

How I live my faith

One day at a time. I try to do things that help me feel close to God. When I start feeling distant from him, I know that something has to change.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, yes, yes! Everything about the church centers on Christ. Everything. We may not have crosses in our buildings or believe exactly the same as other Christians. For example, we believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are separate beings. But this doesn't change our belief that Christ is our Savior and the only way back to God. What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women are not all the same. No, I am not joking. We have totally different personalities, backgrounds, experiences, and opinions ! just like other women. But we have many things in common, like our faith in Christ. And believing in the importance of family, although not everyone's family is not the same. Yes, Mormons believe in the equality of women and men! If they didn't, I wouldn't be one.  Show more Show less
