Hi I'm Fray

I'm a Canadian with an English degree and a minor in film. I'm a Mormon, and I always will be.

About Me

I graduated from University with a degree in English and a minor in film. I've done work as a photographer, a journalist, a communications and media specialist, and a web designer. I'm a bit of an entrepreneur, and I love to learn new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. He is the Creator, our Saviour and our Redeemer. He died to atone for our sins, and was resurrected. He is the Son of God, and I want to follow his example. I am Mormon because the Book of Mormon is a remarkable and utterly authentic book of scripture, written by ancient prophets and divinely translated by a modern prophet for all mankind. It testifies of the Saviour, His mission, and His divinity more powerfully and more persuasively than any other book. I am Mormon because I believe God still speaks to us; that He calls prophets just as He did in ancient times, and that through modern revelation, those prophets lead and direct the Lord's work on earth. I love people of all religions, and I recognize that there is a lot of truth, and a lot to admire, in the religious traditions of the world. But I am Mormon because I believe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true Church on the face of the earth. I am Mormon because I have received a personal, spiritual, and unmistakable confirmation that this Church is true - that this is The Church of Jesus Christ - and I love it.

How I live my faith

I have a strong conviction that this Church is true, and that helps me to live my faith. That conviction, or testimony, reminds me that I am a literal child of God, and that He loves me and wants what's best for me. That gives me strength to live my faith. My knowledge of the Plan of Salvation grants me a unique perspective on this life, it's purpose, and what will come afterwards. This perspective helps me to live my faith because I know why we're all here; the meaning of it all! I am the president of my Community Association, and love to serve my community in any way I can.
