Hi I'm Natalie

I'm an aunt to many nephews and one niece. I'm currently serving a mission in Paris, France. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church in a small farmtown with five siblings. Since finishing high school I've done two years of school studying generals, history, and French. I've also worked in Montana, Maryland (as a nanny), and Utah. Life has had its ups and downs, but I find so much joy in the gospel that helps me deal with adversity and take one day at a time. I'm currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paris, France.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church, I went with my family. I have since learned for myself the happiness and joy the gospel brings into my life and came on a mission to share that with the world. I know that Jesus Christ is my brother, friend, and Savior. I know that every time I read the Book of Mormon I gain truth and understanding of my purpose in this life. I love this gospel and blessed to have it guiding me. About three years ago, my father passed away from cancer. I learned that prayer is a gift and a way we can have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. I had never prayed so hard in my life and I could feel the love of my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ comforting me and helping me through one of the hardest times in my life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches us that we can live with our families for eternity if we choose what's right. That knowledge alone helped me to cope and find joy in my life again. It has been one of the most powerful things I know and can testify of, that my Heavenly Father cares for me individually and wants to help me in my times of need. He has provided a way that we can be with our families forever. I am Mormon because of the happiness that it brings into my life. I am Mormon because I know that this gospel is what Heavenly Father has provided for me to be able to return to live with Him and my family again. I am Mormon because the Bible and Book of Mormon provide clarity and understanding for my purpose in life. I am Mormon because I know Jesus Christ is my brother, friend, Savior, and Redeemer and I can find strength in Him through His restored gospel on the earth today. I keep doing my best to follow Him and He will make up for the rest.

How I live my faith

I'm currently living my faith by serving a mission. So far I'm loving serving the Lord and I'm excited to go out into the field to share my tesitmony with the people of France. I can feel the love of my Savior everyday and want to help others know that they can feel it to. I try to be an example of a disciple of Christ so that people can see the difference in makes in my life and maybe try to find that happiness too. One thing I've gained a testimony of in this church is that being a disciple of Christ is not just a Sunday thing. Its a way of life. Every aspect of the gospel influences everything I do. I live my faith by trying to do what's right daily and striving to serve those around me as the Savior would. I want to show others by example that there's a purpose to this life and a way to enjoy living it that can fulfill our wants, needs, and bring more happiness and joy than ever before. That way is only possible through our Savior Jesus Christ. He can help us along every second if we let Him into our lives to help us.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Missionaries proselyte because they want to share their testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. I know personally as my testimony grows and the gospel continues to bring truth, understanding, and happiness into my life it makes me want to share that with all of God's children so they can be happy too. That's why I'm currently serving a mission. Show more Show less
