Hi I'm Lindsy

I grew up in the United States. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to one and a mother of two. I graduated from college with my bachelor of science degree in Art. I hope to someday be able to get my master's degree, but right now my focus is on my family. My husband is going to graduate school soon so we are still living the student life and loving every minute! I love to paint, read, create things, learn new hobbies, cook, be a wife, be a mom, play with my kids, and see new places with my family. My family means so much to me and I'm grateful to be able to have them a part of my life for the eternities. I have moved around alot, and I have met many people who've had a great impact on my life. Someday my husband and I hope to get our children involved in giving back to the world and our Father in Heaven what we've been blessed with by traveling the world, doing service, and sharing the restored gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I, like many others, was born into a family where my parents and siblings were already members of this church I still had to be converted. We all do. Over and over we are converted to the things we know to be true with a firmer commitment to those things. I always knew deep in my soul that the church was good and true and taught true principles. But it wasn't until I graduated high school and was on my own that I really had to depend on myself for that knowledge. I wasn't leaning on my parents or my church leaders for my testimony. I really found out for myself what I know and what I love. I continue to be an active member because I know who I am and that this is where I need to be; it's where Home is. Even being a member my whole life and learning al I have up to this point, there is still so much to learn and absorb! It's an exciting work that moves on and I am so grateful to be a part of it!

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday with my family in our local ward. I am in charge of setting up meals for Sisters who have had new babies, and I assist them with anything they need. I have had the opportunity to serve in various other capacities as well and I love to serve.
