Hi I'm Adam

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Alaska, but now live in Minnesota with my wife and three boys. I work in software engineering, and enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is difficult enough, but knowing that God has a plan for me and my family changes my perspective of what is important, and provides a common goal for our family. The fact that our Heavenly Father has provided a means for my family to be together forever, and not just until death, brings us closer together. I am grateful that God provided his son Jesus Christ to atone for my sins, and allow us the opportunity to return to his presence. I know that our Savior lives and loves each of us.

How I live my faith

One of the things that our family does is to hold a family meeting one night each week, where a spiritual discussion is held, family goals are reviewed and we are able to talk freely about what we're thinking or feeling. We finish with an activity a dessert, and most importantly a prayer. Spending time during the week outside of Church discussing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how to incorporate it in our lives has had a huge impact on me individually, as well as in our children.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ is the son of God, our Savior and Redeemer. He provided the way for us to overcome our sins so we can return to live with God. He also overcame death, allowing us to all to be resurrected. It is only through Christ that we can return to our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
