Hi I'm Jonathan

I am the fortunate spouse of my sweetheart of 31 years, and grateful parent of 5 children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of nine children. We were raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the beautiful community of Quincy California. My family is my greatest success in life. My formal education is in Business Administration and Computer Science, enabling an occupation that has introduced me to many industries and countries. I've been fortunate to associate with some of the most competent, intelligent and talented men and women of business and industry. Those of most influence on me are hard workers, without guile and always giving forward. These influencers have advocated provident living, common sense, and benevolent service. Each has been wise in choosing between good, better and best. I hope someday others may speak of the actions of me and my family in the same regard as these mentors. And those kind words will be demonstrated by our united will and what we do more then by what we say.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith based decisions were incubated from my childhood by diligent and faithful parents who gave priority to spiritual and social activities. Everything of eternal consequence I owe to my parents. They taught me of morals and ethical decision making. I was dropped off at summer bible study sponsored by many Christian based faiths. We frequented Sunday meetings at these various churches more often than many traditional parishioners who aligned with a single sect. We would then discuss in the home the tenants and good from each of these. I can’t seem to remember a negative thing my parents ever said about any of these denominations. All of this resulted in an understanding that is the basis of my faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, affectionately called the Mormon Church.

How I live my faith

I’ve had the opportunity to serve in the Church since being a young man. These opportunities have frequently manifested in community service as a missionary, parent and ecclesiastical leader. Being a long-time resident of Frisco Texas, I’ve had privilege to participate and see the Church grow in our community with the establishment of 8 congregations and 4 chapels. Our children have also served where able, being involved in the Boy Scouts of America and community directed events.
