Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I'm a convert to the church, baptized on January 24th 1998 in Sydney Australia. I moved back to New Zealand a couple of years later, finding I prefer the kiwi lifestyle and have stuck to the South Island... until recently. I married the love of my life in July last year. Together we have decided to brave the student lifestyle frontier and we relocated at the start of this year, crossing the moat to pursue our dreams in the capital city, windy Wellington. I am studying graphics and design at Yoobee @ Natcoll which I absolutely love. For some examples of my work and some of my raps, check out my blog link further down the page.

Why I am a Mormon

I used to be a Pentecostal Christian but strayed from doing what was right in my teenage years. I remember praying to come back to Church and in answer to my prayer I was approached on the streets by the Missionaries. They asked me if I knew who Jesus was. I said with a smile, "Yip". They started teaching me in the park on hot summer days all they knew of the Saviour. I instantly had a testimony of the restored Gospel, the Book of Mormon and of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I still have a testimony of these things and of our current Prophet Thomas S Monson.

How I live my faith

I Live my Faith by being as good an example to unbelievers as I can. I teach a Sunday School class of 8-9 year olds in Primary with my Wife. I also Home Teach which involves teaching and checking up on the physical and spiritual welfare of our members.
