Hi I'm Siri

I am from Utah. I am a chef, chauffeur, maid, nanny, daughter, wife, mom. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of three beautiful, out going children. I love to read, scrapbook and shop in my spare time. I love being outdoors and running. I love the beach, disneyland and boating. I really enjoy playing games, spending time with people I love and laughing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have thought about this question through out the week. My first response would be that my parents brought me up to go to Church every Sunday. They taught me to be obedient to them and to our Heavenly Father,. They taught me to pray and to read my scriptures. Most importantly they taught me and encouraged me to gain my own Testimony. When I was 14 years old, after reading my scriptures, I knelt down and prayed to Heavenly Father and asked him with a sincere heart if everything I have been taught and studied was true. The spirit filled my room so strong, that I knew I could never deny that feeling I had that day. I am so blessed today to repeat what my parents did for me. I married such a loving, worthy priesthood holder. Now together, we can teach our children about the truthfulness of this gospel. We can read to them, hold family home evenings, family prayer, bear our testimonies to them, show them through examples and someday encourage our children to gain a testimony of their own.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by reading the scriptures, praying and always trying to keep the spirit in my home. I hold family prayer daily, Family Home Evening and always teach my kids the teaching of Christ. We started a month ago to read scriptures again as a family nightly. The kids LOVE hearing stories of Christ and all the wonderful prophets in the scriptures. My Faith is strenghted daily when I listen to my6 and 4 year old talk about the gospel and how excited she is to see Heavenly Father and Jesus again. I am grateful for the power of Faith. Sometimes it is the only thing that you have to hold onto when times get tough.
