Hi I'm Steve.

I ride motorcycles. I love my children. I program computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have eight beautiful children. I love to read. I enjoy riding my motorcycle. I enjoy spending time with my family. I am getting ready to go back to school.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that everyone must live a life worthy of our Heavenly Father's acceptance. I believe that we will make it back to Heaven because of our own beliefs. Therefore I have my own testimony that Heavenly Father loves each of us. He wants us to be happy. I am a Mormon because I know that He loves us enough to restore the gospel and other ordinances that Jesus set up when he was on Earth. These principles have been restored to this earth to assist us all in getting back to Him. I know He lives and that He loves me. I know that this church is His church.

How I live my faith

We have a family night one night each week where we learn, as a family, the principles of the gospel. We learn together and we teach our children the happiness that can come with constant service and love for everyone. I help out at the church by visiting members in their homes each month. I enjoy finding people that need help and helping. Service is important to me.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Steve.
Eternal life is a blessing for us all. I believe that eternal life is both a gift of grace from God as well as an earned reward. We are all children of a loving Heavenly Father. Because we are His children, just like children of our mortal father, we inherit the right to obtain all that our Father has. He offers us the chance to have all that He has. If we live righteously and accept the ordinances and gospel that He has prescribed, we can indeed inherit this eternal existence in Heaven. Living happily with our Father and other friends is indeed a blessing to be cherished and anticipated. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Steve.
A testimonty is something that is very dear to any individual. It is a knowledge deep inside oneself about the truthfulness of the gospel and the restored church of Jesus Christ. This knowledge comes from sincere prayer and a burning confirmation from the Holy Spirit of God. It comes from living the principles and applying them in one's life and then accepting the divine assurance when it is received. Show more Show less
