Hi I'm Dallas

I'm a convert. Life has had more purpose because of the church! I understand my trials and joys in life!

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man who takes me to the temple once a week where we serve the Lord. Together we have eleven children. They live all over the world. Japan, Florida, New Hampshire, California, Wyoming, Texas, Michigan, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana. My husband arranges music, so there is always music in the air in our humble home. I am an artist and photographer. My joy is serving others through my hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew the religion I grew up in could not be Jesus Christ's church. So, I started searching. I went to many churches and none bore witness of the truth like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). I knew when the missionaries started teaching me, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I found what I had been looking for. The Holy Spirit whispered to me to be baptized, and as I studied the gospel, I would come into understanding of God's ways. That was in 1972. I have been an active member of the church ever since. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me through some very difficult times in my life. I owe what I am today, to what I have been taught in the church. My testimony to you is to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and you will never, ever make a wrong decision. How can you make a wrong decision when the Holy Spirit is helping you? You cannot, if you are truly listening!

How I live my faith

My husband and I serve in the temple once a week. We enjoy helping others do the work for their ancestors. We both serve in a music capacity in our ward. We enjoy music. My husband gives away his religious arrangements. This is his way of doing missionary work. We have the elders teach in our home. We enjoy sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. I teach a lesson to the sisters once a month. It is a special privilege for us to visit other members in their homes and bring a spiritual message to share with them. We try to be the best we can be, and teach by example. We strive to keep the commandments. We love the Lord. He has been good to us.
