Hi I'm Dianne Burnham

I am a grandma, I sell cars and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Dianne. Though I have degree in education I turned to the profession of selling cars when I was a struggling single mother. It has been a good profession which allowed me to care for my family by myself as the times required. After being divorced for many years I have recently remarried to a amazing man who shares my love of the Lord. I am the youngest of 5 with only brothers to share my childhood with so I am a tomboy at heart. I love the outdoors, cars, motorcyles, climbing, teenagers, dogs and Volleyball. I love to travel to places with mountains, beaches or raging rivers. Exploring the world that the Lord made for us is my adventure and I try to capture the beauty with my camera. I also enjoy riding my Ducati in the country side with the wind in my face.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church my whole life. I struggled at times but ultimately I know I am happy when I am making choices the Lord would be pleased with. I chose to attend church every week because I know that I everything I have (all my blessings and talents) are gifts that have been given by my Father in heaven. I show my gratitude to Him by being obedient to His commandments. This obedience brings me great peace, freedom and joy. I know that He does not expect me to be perfect but He does expect me to try my best. I am grateful to know that when I fail, I grow. That is what I am here for, this is my test.

How I live my faith

For many years I have had the opportunity to servce others in my chuch by teaching Sunday School classed to the adults. Studying the scriptures to learn the doctrine of Christ is a great blessing to us. The Lord has blessed me with the ability to bring the teachings of the Savior into real life and teach and discuss the application of the doctrine in our daily lives. The gospel of Jesus Christ is and action gospel. He asks us to be like Him and that takes effort. Recently I have been called to Lead the Young Women in our church from 12-18 years of age. What an awesome responsibility and opportunity. These young women are amazing. The things they must deal with in the world are unbelievable. Seeing them learn and grow in their faith is a beautiful thing. They are our future leaders and mothers and as such I am working hard to teach them how they can positively influence others to be like Christ and to serve those in need. Personal prayer and scripture study helps me to know what I should do, I should act and who I should be every day. The scriptures are the the owners manuals to life we all need to find happiness.
