Hi I'm Tiffaney

I'm a wife, mother and teacher. I love music, crafts and books. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of four children. I teach music and love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I am thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ - for the perfect life he lived here in mortality, and for the sacrifice of His life so that I can live again. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church. It bears His name, and his authority to act in His name. I know that Joseph Smith did in fact see and hear the Savior and our Father. I know that through him, the truths were restored to the earth. I know that Thomas Monson is the prophet and leader of Christ's church on the earth today. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us. And if I am faithful to His commandments, I will be able to live with Him forever. I will be able to see my loved ones again. And I will be able to stand to be judged by my Savior and Redeemer. I am very thankful for these pieces of knowledge. I am thankful for prayer, and answers to prayers. I know that God lives and that He knows and loves me.

How I live my faith

Part of being a member of Christ's church is having the opportunity to serve others. We have a lay ministry, which means nobody gets paid for their service. We are extended opportunities to serve in different capacities at different times. We call these assignments "callings". Currently I serve with the young women in our area, this includes the teenage girls between the ages of 12-18. I help plan activities that provide opportunities for youth to meet in a social setting, give service, develop wholesome relationships and communication skills, and reach out to those who are struggling or in need. I also get to serve as a visiting teacher. I am assigned to watch over and help 5 other women in my local congregation by contacting them at least once a month. Included in this regular visit is a message of spiritual instruction that is adapted to meet the needs and concerns of the individual woman. Messages often inspire further gospel discussions, and women learn together. Serving in these different ways allow me to feel God's love for me, as well as for those whom I serve with. I have grown so much in each calling that I have held. And I know it is only through our loving Heavenly Father that I have been able to learn and stretch.
