Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full-time college student in Southern Louisiana. I'm a native Cajun but have been all over the US; living in Texas, Colorado, Idaho, Arkansas and Missouri. I love musicals and own about 30 DVDs and 100's of songs from various soundtracks. I'm a MAC, for sure! I'm a returned missionary. I also love to help people organize their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know I my Father in Heaven wants me to be. I've felt the spirit, a warm/happy feeling, tell me I need to be.

How I live my faith

I have served within the church assisting the young men (ages 12-18) and the young single adults (unmarried members of the faith, ages 18-30) organizing various activities.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Tim
A testimony is personal. We use this term quite often; at least weekly in some cases. It is a knowledge of truth. A testimony is stating something that you know to be true, "I know I have two legs." or "I am sure I have two parents." It can also be a knowledge based on faith. "I know the sun will rise in the morning." In gospel terms, "I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer of all mankind and I can only return to live with my Father in Heaven through the Savior." Show more Show less
