Hi I'm Ronnie
I am a husband, father of three and a thirty year railroader and I am a Morman.
I was born in Georgia but moved to Florida at the age of four, because my father's job took him there. He worked for a dredging company. We lived on the LDS church owned ranch call Deseret Ranches. I was baptized at the age of eight. When I was in the fourth grade we returned to Georgia to live. I am married to my high school sweatheart and we have three wonderful children. Two sons that have served two year missions for the Lord, one in Arizona and the other in California. Our Daughter is still at home with us. We have seven grand children and one coming in Jan. of 2011. My family roots run deep, I am the sixth of nine children, six boys and three girls. All of my siblings are still living with the oldest being sixty five. I am fiftty five and very humbled by blessings recieved from our heavenly Father.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has witnessed to me that the gospel as it is taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I was so fortunate to have been raised by wonderful parents who tried to live their lives in a manor that would teach correct principles to their children but I understood that I must gain a testimony of the truth for myself or else I could not do all that was asked of me. I KNOW THIS CHURCH TEACHES THE TRUTH AND IS "CHRIST'S CHURCH" HERE UPON THE EARTH TODAY!
How I live my faith
My work keeps me on the road most of the week but when I am at home I try to spend a lot of time with my family. I believe that families are a very important part of the Lord's plan for us and are essential to our salvation. Although I could always do more, I try to live in a way that will be an example of my faith to others around me. I attend my church services as offten as possible because I know that outside the walls of our homes that is where we learn and grow the most.
