Hi I'm Annette

I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. I now live in Arizona and love it. I'm married and have five children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music, I love to read and I love spending time with my family. I have recently decided to go back to college and I am enjoying the things I'm learning. I have also been involved in Toastmasters and I'm having lots of fun doing that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not always a Mormon. When I met my husband, he was a Mormon and asked me if I wanted to meet with the missionaries to learn more about the LDS church. One of the things that stood out the most to me when I was learning about the church was the fact the Mormons are taught to live their religion 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I didn't feel like I was taught that in the church I attended growing up. I had a short period (thankfully) in my life where I decided there was no God. When I started learning about the church I had to rethink my position on that. I believe that time of denial strengthened me because when I decided to join the church I knew that if I was now changing my position saying there truly was a God, I was going to live my life that way. I knew in my heart I was making the right choice and I knew God really did exist and that I would never turn my back on Him again. Being a Mormon has truly changed the direction of my life. I find much joy in living my life striving to please my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I want others to know what peace and joy they can have if they open their hearts to God. I'm so glad that I did.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by, first of all, just striving to be the best me I can be. I have five children and want to set a good example for them. I try to read the scriptures and pray every day. I get to help the women in my church. A few other women and I plan activities to help the women learn new things and get to know one another better.
