Hi I'm Dylan Cunningham

I grew up in Alaska. I am serving as a missionary in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Elder Dylan Storm Cunningham. I have lived in several parts of the United States, i was born of goodly parents in Alaska, we then moved to Wyoming, and Missouri. Currently, i am serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission where i get to share my beliefs with others and where i have the opportunity to help others apply the gospel of Jesus Christ into their lives. More and more everyday, i learn for myself the truthfulness of a great Creator and Redeember in my life. To go a little more in depth of my life i have stuggled with a lot of things i would never anticipate a 19 and 20 year old to have to deal with. For some grand plan Heavenly Father has allowed me my cross to bear and i bear it proudly and nobly, but not alone. I know my Savior is there to lift me up and help my mind stay clear and happy from the struggles of life. Because of my problems i have grown close to my God who gave me life. I AM a child of God!

Why I am a Mormon

It is interesting to note, in my life i have always been in the church. My parents raised me in the church and taught me what the church believes and testifies of. Over and over my parents would bring us to church and we would read from the scriptures and pray as often as we could. Because of the stability in my life i have build my foundation on Jesus Christ. I have come to know for myself the truth of this gospel and reality of the mission of the church as i have lived it. Because of this testimony i will forever look towards God through thick and thin and will continue to become like Him. I know this church understands His full gospel therefore i will not leave this church for i know of its truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to become like my Savior. His doctrine is to have faith, repent, become baptized into the proper church by the proper authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end. I try my best to catch my testimony as soon as possible each day. I know that this is all i need to do to enter into His kingdom. For this is His doctrine, I know. As i live my life i work to have my mind clear to be receptive to His promptings to help, live, encourage, inspire and bless others. I work hard to find those looking for truth that can be found from the word of God.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Dylan Cunningham
I don't think we as mormons live much differently than others. Just like everyone we are working to become happy and to do our best in live and to become someone. We all learn from our mistakes, hence we all make mistakes and we are looking for more. We as members of Christs' church go to church on Sundays for 3 hours. We have different activities planned throughout the weeks and months to come closer together and fellowship with other faiths and people. When a crisis comes to a people, we try to be the first ones there with open hands of love and support. We like to read our scriptures and say our prayers to God as often as we can. We try to stay away from substances that are addictive or indulge in activities that will drag us away from God. We simply are doing our best to do and say what our Savior and Redeemer would do.
