Hi I'm Becky

I've received a double lung transplant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two girls and am married to a wonderful husband. I have cystic fibrosis and have many medical needs. I am currently waiting for a double lung transplant and have been for 4 years. I have had the miracle of maintained health rather than declining. I am enjoying my days playing with my children and doing daily treatments for my cf. I enjoy being around family and friends and love to do arts and crafts. Some say I have a knack for it, I say I like to have fun!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 17 I was dating a Mormon boy. The missionaries from his church asked if I would like to learn about the church. I was very open minded and when the missionaries spoke I knew what they were telling me was the truth. I know now that was the Holy Spirit testifying to me. I was baptised a few weeks later. I know the Book of Mormon is true as well as the Bible. When I read them I feel that same sweet spirit. The scriptures answer my prayers and strengthen my testimony constantly. I cannot imagine living my life again with out the constant companion of the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

My family and I have regular family nights as well as attend church meetings. My husband and I attend the temple as often as we can. I also help members and non members do their geneology. I have been teaching my family about the church for 11 years and with Gods help 2 of my family members just joined the church. Happy moments like that help me to know we can all be a tool to God and He truly loves us all and will help us come closer to Him.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?
