Hi I'm Sherrae

I'm a mother, a wife, a teacher, and love photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother, both roles of which I view as of great importance. I love to outside. We hike, bike, kayak, walk, run, camp, explore, cross-country ski. And the best part is that we can enjoy it all together. I teach a preschool and have a small photography business.

Why I am a Mormon

Becuase now and eternity matter to me. It helps me see and understand my prupose in life and enhances my life through the truths that I know.

How I live my faith

One day at a time. Each day matters and each day brings opportunities to prove your faith and dedication. My faith enhances my relationships with my husband and children. My faith gives me perspective and hope. Two important gifts (that everyone needs and can receive) that proived one with the power and strength to face challenges and trials.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Sherrae
I believe families are important to most everyone. For me, families become even more important knowing and understanding the truths about families and our purpose and our roles. It could be compared to any job title and the specific roles that accompany that specific job. There are many good things for that individual to do regarding their work, but with a sharp focus on what is most important in their job, you become more efficient and more focused on what matters most. That is how the truths of the gospel help me to see the importance of my family and helps me to keep my life balanced by helping me to see the importance of family among all the other good things that beg for my time and engery. How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Sherrae
By trusing Him. Through meaningful prayer. The type of prayer that comes from your heart, that speaks of your thoughts and concerns and desires. And then by listening and feeling. Show more Show less
