Hi I'm Kendra

I'm a mother, a wife, a web site designer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to 3 wonderful children and wife to the most amazing man. I am fortunate enough to have been blessed with talents that allow me to work from home. I am a website developer and designer. I enjoy anything that is creative, whether it be on the computer, hands-on crafts or in the kitchen. I also love photography and am always trying to hone my skills.

Why I am a Mormon

When I met my future husband, I didn't know what a "Mormon" was. After 2 months of dating and inviting me to church every week, I gave in to attend his niece's baptism. It was a life-changing 3 hours for me. I immediately started reading the Book of Mormon, attending church every week and started paying tithing. One evening while reading Joseph Smith's testimony at the beginning of the Book of Mormon, I was overcome by an intensely hot feeling in my chest and an immense happiness. I knew without a doubt that this was the Spirit testifying of the truthfulness of the words I was reading. I was baptized 3 months after attending my first church service. It has been nearly 10 years since that beautiful day and my testimony continues to grow stronger each day. Heavenly Father has blessed me with a wonderful family and I can feel His love through them. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, sacrificed His life so that I may be forgiven and have eternal life. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and that he restored the true Church to the earth. I am so grateful to be a member of this Church and to have found my path in life. I am grateful for my eternal perspective and knowledge of Heavenly Father's plan for His children, so that I can overcome difficult times in my life. I love this Church, my Savior and my Heavenly Father with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in the Church. I have taught the Young Women and the Primary aged children. Working with the youth of the Church is so rewarding, knowing that they are our future. Having "teaching" callings has probably helped me more than those I am teaching, as I am given the opportunity to study in depth each lesson and receive a greater understanding of each gospel principle. My callings have helped strengthen my testimony and helped me to become a better person and Church member.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Kendra
100% yes! Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return to live with Him. By providing us a prophet, Thomas S. Monson, a worthy man who receives direct revelation on behalf of the world, we are given guidance, direction and help from our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
