Hi I'm Stuart Draper

I do back flips on a wakeboard. I served a mission in Argentina. I wrote a textbook. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm biased, of course, but I am the husband of the most beautiful woman in the world, and daddy to the three most beautiful children in the world. Boating and travel are our favorite family activities. Before the family came along, I was a Washington state champion wrestler and baseball player in High School. I served a mission for the LDS church in, and around, Mendoza, Argentina. I speak fluent spanish. I graduated college with a BS degree in Business-Marketing from BYU-Idaho. I founded a successful internet marketing agency. After that I taught at BYU-Idaho as an Adjunct faculty member, and I wrote a textbook that is used by hundreds of universities on internet marketing. It could be said about me that I am an adrenaline junkie. I do back flips and all sorts of tricks on a wakeboard. I've climbed tall mountains in the two largest mountain ranges in the US. I've broken in wild horses. I used to ride rodeo bulls for fun. I've jumped off of tall bridges into rivers for fun. I like to ride snowmobiles and jet skis. I like to snow ski. I am a people person. I like to help others, and love to get to know others. I like to find fun, out of the ordinary, ways to serve neighbors, family, and friends in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness it brings me. Sure, I was born into a Mormon family, but now as a grown man with my own family, I choose to live the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is the only way I have been able to find true happiness for myself. At a young age I read the Bible and Book of Mormon and prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if it was all true. Personal, spiritual experiences have helped me to know for myself that the true church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the Earth.

How I live my faith

Some of my responsibilities at church include making visits to church members homes, leaving a short gospel message, praying with them, and looking for ways to serve them and to see where the church may be able to help them if they are struggling temporally or spiritually. I have also had the opportunity to help plan and organize fun social events like dinners, camping trips, and picnics. I also help make sure that the missionaries that serve around our area get meals to eat. Usually neighbors and friends take turns having them over to dinner. I like to teach, and occasionally I get to teach the Gospel Principles class in Sunday School.
