Hi I'm Amanda

I am from California. I am a wife, a mom, a nurse, a piano teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a coastal town in California, not realizing it was paradise until I moved away for college. Now I live in the South, and it's fun to soak up a whole new culture and learn to cook new foods. I have a women's health nurse practitioner degree and worked for a few years before I decided to stay home with my growing family. Now I teach piano lessons from home. My next baby will be born in June 2011 and I'm gathering my courage to be a mother of four.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the Church because the teachings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ guide me to Him and give me peace and safety. I love knowing that my kids are being raised to know who they are: beloved children of a loving Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I have organized service projects in our community such as landscaping a local elementary school and cleaning the community health center. I teach a class for teenage girls at church. I also play the organ for the congregational hymns during our sacrament meeting. I try to be a good neighbor.
